Hello, Lexington families! Our annual Parent/Teacher Conference dates are set for Tuesday, October 6th and Thursday, October 8th this year. We are continuing to use our online sign-up to allow parents to select the teacher(s), date, and time that best fits for each family.
You will need a verifiable email address to complete this process online. If you do not have internet access to schedule online, please call the elementary office (309) 365-2741 and we will be happy to assist you in signing up for a conference.
Elementary - We ask that you schedule a time with your child’s homeroom teacher, and we encourage you to schedule with any specials (art, gym, music, STEM) teachers if you wish. If you prefer to register for a virtual conference, once you complete the online registration please email your student's teacher to let him/her know that you will be attending virtually. Smile Illinois, is coming to Lexington School on October 22nd, 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to receive preventative dental care. The team of licensed dentists and hygienists will set up a mini-dental office in our building. Participating children will receive cleanings and fluoride treatments. X-rays and sealants are also offered, when applicable. All students up through the age of 18 are eligible.
**Smile Illinois accepts Medicaid and “All Kids Insurance”
**The Smile Illinois program accepts Private Dental Insurance.
Every student who participates will receive a new toothbrush and a dental “report card” to take home. Please note that the Smile Illinois program satisfies the mandated exams required by the State of Illinois, for students in Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th , and 9th grades.

- JH Baseball - Game has been rescheduled for 9/10, no practice
- JH Softball - Game at Tri-Valley has been moved to a 7:00pm start
- HS Golf & JH Golf - No matches or practice
- HS Volleyball - 3 games starting at 5:00pm as previously scheduled
- HS Football - Practice as regularly scheduled (indoors)

Sept Lunch Menus
Kindergarten students in Ms. Lauritson's class learned about dog safety today with a visit from Mrs. Holst and our Minutemen therapy dog Radley.
High Five Fridays are back! Lots of smiles from students of all ages to start the day today as our high school Key Club members created a fun way to enter the building. Happy Friday, Minutemen!
We have Purple Pride! Our elementary students are working hard to start the school year earning purple coupons for positive behaviors. We are working on being respectful, responsible, and safe!
The Lexington Education Advancement Foundation is pleased to honor Sue Vincent with the Patriot Award and induction into the "Lexington Legends" for her many ongoing contributions to Lexington Schools. This ceremony and honor will take place this Thursday between the JV and Varsity volleyball contests. The JV game against Cornerstone Christian will start at 5:30 PM with the LEAF ceremony to follow before the Varsity contest. Please come out and help us show our Minutemen appreciation and honor “Ms. Sue."
We are excited to share that Lexington CUSD7 has received a grant from the Illinois Retired Teachers Association Foundation (IRTAF) to expand hands-on STEM learning for our students! Grant funds will purchase Cubelets robotics kits and math lockboxes, giving students more opportunities to build, experiment, solve puzzles, collaborate, and strengthen critical-thinking skills during SMART Summer Camp and throughout the school year. Thank you, IRTAF, for investing in our students and helping us make learning hands-on, engaging, and fun! 🤖🔐💜
