Would you like a piece of Minutemen memorabilia? Please take a look at the pictures below. As a a part of our locker room renovations, we salvaged the benches from the boys' and girls' locker rooms. We grabbed the benches that our district can reuse in the future leaving the following to be deemed "surplus property." Each bench is for sale for $20, no matter the size. Here is the following sizes that we have available at first come, first serve:
UPDATE: We have one 10 foot long bench with beige legs remaining.

Congratulations to Coach Doug Yoder & Coach Rob Haslett on their IBCA "Coach of the Year" recognition this past weekend at the IBCA Banquet.
Coach Haslett was even treated to a surprise donut / breakfast celebration with the 7th Grade team as he arrived to work one morning!

News from Nurse Julianne....End of the Year Medication Pick-up Information

A big shout out to our baseball, softball, and track Senior Athletes. We thank each of you for your contributions to our programs and recognizing our programs well!




Author Ralph Shayne visited some of our students today to discuss his book Hour of Need. Thanks to a generous donation from the Lexington Public Library, all of our fifth graders received a copy of his book and Mr. Shayne signed those copies today.




There is a shortage of officials for all high school sports! Anyone (age 16+) interested in officiating, there will be an informational meeting held on May 16 at Normal Community High School at 6pm in the NCHS gym. Please consider attending and learning more about becoming an IHSA licensed official so our student athletes can continue to compete.




4/29 - Athletic Updates:
Today's Baseball & Softball games vs. Eureka have been rescheduled due to field conditions.
Softball is rescheduled for Wednesday May 1. (This will also be Senior Recognition.)
Baseball is rescheduled for Monday May 6. (Baseball Senior Recognition will now take place on Thursday May 2 vs. Ridgeview.)

From our youngest Minutemen to our soon-to-be graduates, students and staff took part in our "Beam Signing" yesterday. Everyone was able to place their signature on two beams that will soon find their forever home in our STEAM addition . We thank PJHoerr Inc, Dewberry Inc, and Hanley Steel for working with us to provide us with this memorable opportunity!
