The Lexington Agriculture Advisory Committee is hosting the tenth
annual “Auction for Agriculture Students” on Saturday March 1, 2025 at the
Lexington High School Cafeteria and Gym. Please plan on participating in
this opportunity to provide support for the chapter scholarship program, the
chapter members to attend leadership activities, for general program
support, and to assist with furnishing the STEAM addition.
Soft tours of the new STEAM addition will be available for public starting at 4:00 p.m, with a dinner being served from 5:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria. The dinner is for a donation and will include a pork chop sandwich, baked beans, coleslaw, applesauce and a cookie, and drink. (Children’s menu is available with a hotdog/chips).
The silent auction of donated items, will be set up during the dinner hours, in the large gym (from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.). Lastly, the LIVE auction will take place from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 in the cafeteria and elementary gym.
We are looking forward to another great evening celebrating our students and we hope to see you there!

On Saturday night Key Club hosted a Parents Night Out for K-5th grade students. We had a blast as the students got to participate in a Snowman Escape, build a snowman snack and have fun with the high school Key Clubbers in a few relay races! Thanks to all those who participated in this event.

Happy Valentine's Day from the Minutemen Kindness Club! Yesterday we were hard at work after school spreading kindness with homemade hearts for the ones we love.
Due to the impending weather conditions, all afternoon and evening events for Wednesday, February 12th have been cancelled. Stay safe, Minutemen!

KIWANIS BED BLITZ!!!!
Once again our Lexington Kiwanis will be hosting a Mini Bed Blitz where we make beds for local families in need of a bed for their 5-18 year old child, who may be sleeping on a couch, sharing a bed or sleeping on a broken bed.
With our simple bed frame, we also provide the mattress, all bed linens, a pillow, blanket, quilt, book, stuffed animal and laundry detergent.

Last week we had a blast participating in our first Heart Healthy week in connection with the American Heart Association. Students in grades PreK-12 and staff members completed various heart healthy challenges each day and enjoyed some assemblies to help spread the message to take care of our hearts and how to respond in the event of a heart-related issue. We also surpassed our fundraising goal of $1500 by raising $2131.67 for the American Heart Association! We are excited to make this an annual event for our students and staff.
