Our junior high science students have been working on identifying an unknown gas in their most recent phenomenon. They tested the flammability of different gases, observing everything from tiny ignitions to full combustion reactions. The highlight? Putting those chemical reactions to the test by launching a potato from home plate all the way to the outfield fence using the power of gas combustion!
