The community of Lexington is very proud of its schools. The Junior High is no exception. We house the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Our basic core classes for all grade levels consist of Math, Science, Social Studies, Literacy, and P.E.  Our students also rotate semester exploratory classes each year. Our 6th grade will explore Careers and Computers.  Our 7th Grade will explore Art and Agriculture.  Our 8th grade will explore Spanish and S.T.E.M.  All students also have the choice to participate in choir, band, or study hall.  We have a great faculty who work together with the administration, parents and the community to provide an inviting, safe environment.

In addition to the excellent academic offerings, we also provide for a variety of successful extra-curricular activities. The students can join LEARN Club (a youth service organization), Math Team, FFA, Literary Club or sports of boys baseball, girls softball, boys and girls basketball, girls volleyball, boys and girls track and wrestling. Our students have wonderful opportunities to get involved.
