About Me:

I am a full time mom, teacher, and coach.  I am dedicated to education and I am constantly striving to be a better educator.  I am excited about the advancements of technology and how they have and will continue to shape education.  I am trying to stay a step ahead of the students that I teach and constantly trying to understand their world of technology. 

I have a wonderful family with four active children.  In addition, I teach high school math (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Analytical Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus), coach the math team, coach cheerleading, am an active member of the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association, and I am the president of our local teacher's union.  I love to spend time with my children, rollerblade, and scrapbook.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Eastern Illinois University and a Master's degree from the University of Illinois's Curriculum, Technology, and Education Reform (CTER) program.
